Privacy policy

This website works without cookies, without analytics and without a single request to a third-party server. Fonts and images are served from our own server. That is also why there is no consent banner: there is nothing for you to consent to.

2. Visiting the site

When you open this site, your browser transmits technical data which our server records in a log file:

  • IP address
  • date and time of the request
  • the address requested
  • amount of data transferred and whether the request succeeded
  • referring page, if any
  • browser and operating system

This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the site, keep it stable and detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in secure operation.

This data is not combined with other sources. Logs are deleted after seven days at the latest.

3. Contact form

If you write to us using the form, we process the details you provide: your enquiry type, name, email address and, if given, phone number, preferred date, car, intended period, package and your message.

We use these details solely to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where it concerns steps prior to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future, informally by email.

Your enquiry reaches us by email and is stored there until the matter is settled and no statutory retention periods apply. It is not passed on to third parties.

To guard against automated submissions we check whether a field invisible to humans was filled in, how quickly the form was submitted, and how many enquiries arrive from the same IP address within a short time. No captcha and no third-party service is used.

4. Contact by phone or email

If you call or write to us, we process your details in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

5. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party services

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.

Fonts, images and code are served from our own server. No content is loaded from Google, from a content delivery network or from any other third party. Your IP address is not transmitted to anyone.

6. Link to Google Maps

The section on getting here contains a link to Google Maps. It is an ordinary link and not an embedded map: as long as you do not click it, no data is transmitted to Google. If you do click it, Google's privacy policy applies.

7. Encryption

This website is delivered over HTTPS. What you type into the form is encrypted on its way to us and cannot be read by third parties.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data at any time:

We update this policy whenever the processing changes, for example because a new feature is added. The version published here applies.
