A roller shutter and a camera in front of it, that is all the security most places offer. At HUBRAUM there is a great deal more behind it.

A look inside the hall

A steady climate all year round: 14 to 17 degrees

A car does not rust because it stands in the cold. It rusts when warm air meets cold metal and condenses. That is exactly what happens in every uninsulated garage, every spring day. Not in the HUBRAUM hall.

No condensation on your paint

Where the temperature does not jump, nothing settles. Not on the paint, not in the engine bay and not in the part of the sill you would only discover in four years.

Rubber and leather age more slowly

Seals go brittle in dry heat, upholstery turns in damp cold. Between 45 and 55 per cent relative humidity both age at their slowest, and your car stays as it is.

The floor stays dry

A sealed, level surface. An open concrete floor pushes moisture upwards: into the tyres, into the underbody, onto the brake discs. Not here.

Break-in

A car is on a trailer and gone in four minutes. That is why our security does not stop at the gate.

  • Controlled, documented access: your key stays in the safe and is never handed out
  • Modern video surveillance of the hall and the approach
  • Intrusion detection throughout the building
  • Live connection to an alarm receiving centre with audio and video, not just a siren on the wall
  • Every arrival and release passes through our hands, not through a keypad

Fire

The one loss no insurance can make good: a car that no longer exists in this form. So we protect it before anything happens.

  • Fire detection system throughout the building
  • Extinguishing equipment right on site, not only with the fire brigade
  • Generous bays: there is space between the cars
  • No fuel store and no workshop jobs between the stored cars

Everything written here you will see with your own eyes when you visit. We deliberately name no classes or standards: we show you the system itself. If you would like a written assurance, you will find it in the contract.
